Services
Transportation
Transportation for charter schools is provided according to the home district from which the student attends. Students within the RCSD must live 1.5 miles or further from their school to receive transportation.
Uniforms
Uniforms are part of Rochester Prep’s policy. New students receive two shirts and additional are available for purchase.
School Services
Rochester Prep provides free breakfast, lunch, and snack to all students.
Instructional Models
Our students engage in cross-cultural studies each year starting in Kindergarten. We teach our students to value themselves and each other. We ask them to read diverse authors, to debate their ideas in class, to engage with global issues during and after school, and to be part of a strong community. We develop our students’ voices not only because they will need them to succeed, but because the world needs to hear them.
Academic Offerings
Rochester Prep offers a wide range of Advanced Placement Courses, technology-based courses, as well as other unique classes to challenge and expand your child’s mind and skills. We are pleased to offer formal special education programs to students who may need additional support or are English Language Learners. Our goal is to ensure every child has the tools needed to succeed.

Being a full K-12 program, Rochester Prep has a lengthy list of clubs and offerings that are updated every year.
Community Partnership Programs
Rochester Prep High School is proud to partner with the Rochester Institute of Technology! Professors teach classes, college students mentor our students, regular field trips to RIT campus, and Senior Capstone projects, are just some elements of this wonderful partnership.
Sports
JV and Varsity Athletics: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Track, Bowling, Baseball & Cheerleading & Dance
Arts & Engineering: Four pathways – Digital Design, Fine Arts, Robotics, and Theatre
HS Programming: Students explore interests including mock trial, baking, social justice, and podcasting
Partnership with RIT: 11th & 12th grade capstone project with RIT professors taking place on campus
Academic Performance
At the elementary school level your child will establish a strong academic foundation while developing a love of learning.
In middle school your child will begin experiencing more advanced coursework while developing independence and exploring their individual passions.
When your child reaches the high school level of education the diverse and rigorous curriculum is designed to prepare students for the demands of college and beyond. Your child will be empowered to develop their leadership capabilities both in the classroom and in the real world.
